New User Flow
Customer: vCOACH GmbH, 2021
Project description
A new feature was to be implemented for the soft skills training platform of vCOACH GmbH. This has an impact on the user flow. My tasks here were to develop the concept and clarify the legal and technical feasibility.

Start
Problem
After completing a soft skills training course, the user receives a certificate. This can only be downloaded from the platform. Sharing, e.g. on LinkedIn, is not possible from the platform and the user must do this manually.
Solution
Offer a share function that provides a direct link to LinkedIn, making sharing easier.

First, I analyzed the features and options offered by other apps and websites for sharing information and documents.
LinkedIn offers the option of posting information directly to your resume (profile) or as a post. I discussed this option with our developer first, as LinkedIn already offers an API that we could use. I also checked whether LinkedIn legally allows the logo to be incorporated into a share button.
After clarifying these points, I created wireframes, adjusted them again after further consultation with a founder and the developer, and passed on the final designs for implementation.

Concept
To make sharing as convenient and understandable as possible for the user, I have included graphic examples and explanations.
When the user clicks on “Share,” the next step is to select whether the certificate should be posted in their resume or as a post. This is visually supported.
If the user selects the “Share as post” option, they receive a text template for the post. This can be customized directly within the platform. After sharing, the user is redirected to LinkedIn in a new tab.
